Jennifer Maraist

Jennifer Maraist was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. Today not only is she a female entrepreneur, founder of Triumph Fitness, but also a wife to Brett, and her most valuable role as MOM to Angel Grayson and 1 year old Avery Elizabeth.

After graduating from The University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor’s degree in Dance Performance and Choreography, Jennifer became interested in how the human body performed thus pursuing a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology. During this time, she found herself 45pounds heavier and as she says, “uncomfortable in my own skin” – Jennifer knew that this wasn’t the way she was meant to live. Between her ongoing interest in how the body performed and her own journey of being unhealthily overweight, she started dabbing into ways to exercise and eat right. This lead Jennifer on a path to figuring out not only who she was but, becoming the most authentic version of her. Through her health journey and recently her fertility journey, she has learned many ways of how to overcome adversity.

By gaining the COURAGE to open Triumph Fitness this has led to many opportunities to help others live their best life through a healthy lifestyle. What motivates Jennifer the most is when she sees the “Light bulb” moment go off for people- or specifically when a person “Triumphs” through adversity. As Jennifer puts it “yeah, the 5-10 pound weight loss is great, but it is so much more gratifying when a person gets out of their own way, starts living the life of their dreams and is truly happy”

She is a full-time NICU dietitian and the owner of Your Daily Bite, where she offers personalized nutrition coaching services. She have been working with Triumph Fitness & The Tighten Up Challenge since December of 2020. She loves being part of the Triumph community and helping others reach their goals. Susan Gordon

Susan Gordon has been happily married for 42 years, the mother of four, and the grandmother of six.  She’s been an active person, playing sports and exercising most of her life.  She started the Tighten Up Challenge in July 2020 knowing she needed the accountability to “tighten up” my food choices.  She lost nine pounds during the challenge and began to learn how to fuel my body for better workouts. During her second challenge, she focused on learning how macros (protein, fat and carbs) and carb cycling played a role in each type of workout she did, such as Tabata, MOVE and HIIT.  She just completed her third challenge and although her physical appearance did not change, she is more conditioned and stronger. One thing she’s been able to accomplish is to run 3 miles and actually enjoy it (running wasn’t her idea of fun).  As a Tighten Up Accountability Coach she looks forward to working with you and accomplishing the goals you set for yourself.

LaDonna Jeanmarie

LaDonna Jeanmarie was born and raised in New Orleans, LA (Uptown and Gentilly). She is a wife and a mother to three beautiful girls. She started the Tighten Up Challenge in October of 2019 (yes, during the holidays!). Since joining the Tigthen Up Challenge, she has increased her weekly number of workouts (on average) and, most importantly, has better control of her diet. Did you all hear that? Control (boom!). When LaDonna joined Triumph Fitness in 2017, she could not do a simple squat due to arthritis (genetics) and an injury. Now, she can perform vigorous workouts but at her own pace and ability. It has now been four years since she joined Triumph and she is still on this journey with our members as a Tighten Up Accountability Coach.

Kristy Clark

Kristy Clark first joined Triumph Fitness’ online program in January of 2019 and loved how the workouts fit into her busy schedule. After her first few months with Triumph, she had more energy, a renewed confidence, and a few new piece of clothing with the inches lost. Now let’s Fast forward to January 2020, her job becomes extra stressful with a greater workload and she slipped back into stress eating. Then with the onset of quarantine during Covid, her and her family were all home stress eating together. So, in the Summer of 2020, she was still working out regularly but knew she needed more tools to get back on track with her meal plan . Luckily, she was not alone, the Triumph Tighten Up Challenge began and macros tracking was a game changer in her health journey! Here favorite part about the Tighten Up Challenge was that she is now equipped with a meal plan that fits in with her life, family, schedule, and special events! If you are looking for a jolt in your health journey or if you are like Kristy and need a plan that fits in with your life then she would love for you to join her and the rest of the Tighten Up Tribe for the next Tighten Up Challenge!

Victoria Bourg

Victoria Bourg started her fitness journey with the Triumph staff in May of 2016. She was looking for guidance after a high risk pregnancy, looking to re gain loss muscle strength. Prior to meeting triumph staff, Victoria was a non active person and struggled with confidence when it came to fitness. When she began her journey to better health, she couldn’t touch her toes, do a full sit-up, or more than a few pushups on her knees. Thankfully she found her tribe and began not only building confidence, but strength and flexibility. After time, dedication and consistency, she can now do  things she thought were impossible such as full push ups and running a 10k. But in July 2020, after emerging from the pandemic, she found her nutrition and most of all her mindset, lacking. She slipped back into old habits, and although still strong and consistent in the gym, she was gaining weight and felt less energetic. She began the 5 day metabolic challenge, and went directly into the Tighten up Challenge, and since has been back on track with her health goals. Learning macros and trying carb cycling did wonders, but really the boost came from the accountability and camaraderie from the group. As a coach she would love to help people find their confidence!
